Frequently asked questions
Good questions.
Clear next steps.
Every placement is different. These answers help you prepare for a useful conversation about products, equipment, and service.
Getting started
What information should we share first?
Start with your location, the type of building, typical occupancy, opening hours, and what your people would like to find. An initial inquiry does not need a finalized equipment choice.
Is there a minimum number of people?
Eligibility is provider- and site-specific. Expected use, shift patterns, access, product range, and the service route all affect whether a placement is practical.
What does a placement cost?
Costs depend on equipment, installation, service arrangements, and commercial terms. Ask for a written outline of charges, commissions where applicable, and responsibilities before agreeing.
How soon can equipment be installed?
Timing depends on coverage, equipment availability, the site review, and agreed terms. Confirm a delivery and installation schedule with the provider.
Products & equipment
Can we choose the products?
Your preferences can guide the selection. Discuss popular choices, dietary requests, packaging compatibility, availability, and how changes will be reviewed.
Can we offer fresh food?
Fresh food needs suitable equipment, demand, handling, temperature control, expiry checks, and a clear service routine. Confirm these with the provider and site team first.
Are dietary alternatives allergen-free?
Do not assume so. Check individual packaging and relevant product information. A product range should not be presented as safe for every allergy or dietary requirement.
Which payment methods are available?
Supported payments depend on the actual equipment and payment system. Confirm cards, mobile payments, connectivity requirements, and the support route for a transaction problem.
Are the machines shown available to buy?
The Vendrest equipment names, illustrations, and specifications are fictional planning examples. Request verified details of the actual equipment offered by your provider.
Placement & support
How much room does a placement need?
The actual model and layout determine the space needed. A survey should check operating clearances, ventilation, delivery access, floor loading, power, and accessible circulation.
Who restocks and cleans the equipment?
Agree responsibilities, frequency, access arrangements, food checks where needed, and cleaning expectations with your provider and site team before installation.
What happens if something goes wrong?
Confirm the support contact, reporting process, response arrangements, and handling of payment or product issues in the service agreement.
Can we change or remove the placement later?
Review the agreement for change requests, notice periods, removal arrangements, and any charges. Terms vary by provider and placement.
Where can we ask about coverage?
Use the placement inquiry to share your postcode or ZIP code and site details. Coverage must be checked for the actual location.
